I have been a board-certified family physician for 40 years; I worked 10 years in private general practice, 21 years in college health (while I was also a hospice director for 16 years), two years in urgent care medicine, and seven and a half years in correctional medicine. Before becoming a physician, I graduated from Universidad Central del Este in the Dominican Republic. I completed my internship at Allegheny General Hospital and my residency in family medicine at McKeesport Hospital.
I am certified by the American Board of Family Medicine, and I am a fellow in the American Academy of Family Physicians. I have always been interested in dealing with and treating the whole person across the span of the human experience. I look forward to continuing this work with Curana Health.
I enjoy reading, listening to recorded books, biking, and writing. I have written a children’s book. I also have a Master of Divinity degree from Princeton Theological Seminary. I am married with two sons and one daughter; I have one granddaughter and another one on the way. We live in Cranberry Township, PA, just north of Pittsburgh.
My name is Nikkole Lindamood and I am an AANP and ANCC board-certified family nurse practitioner at Curana health. I have experience in acute care, hospice care, community-based care, and outpatient clinic settings.
I received my nursing degree in 2012. In 2018, I enrolled in a dual program at Chamberlain University. In this program, I specialized in geriatrics, hospice and palliative care, and graduated with my masters degree and nurse practitioner degree in 2021.
My hobbies include being outdoors, fishing, camping, and dancing with my three children – two boys and one girl.
