Curana Health Clinic is a full-service primary care clinic conveniently located on the Tiffany Springs campus.
Residents and staff can now stay on campus for minor medical appointments. We’ll provide any of the following services on-site:
Urgent care and sick care visits
Annual wellness visits
Minor procedures such as ear washing, breathing treatment and more
Immunizations and labwork

Rachel Mason, MD
Internal Medicine – Geriatrics
I grew up on a farm near Liberty, Missouri, and decided on a career in medicine after a dissection project in 8th grade. After high school, I attended Drake University, where I earned a degree in biochemistry.
I attended medical school at the University of Missouri and then headed to the Medical University of South Carolina (Charleston), where I completed my internal medicine residency. Always planning to come back to Kansas City, I next completed a geriatrics fellowship at KU, staying on there as faculty for five years before returning to the Northland.
I was inspired to enter the field of geriatrics by my relationship with my great grandmother, who lived to 101 years. My goal is to provide older adults personalized care with a focus on quality of life. I am married and live outside Liberty with my husband and three children. I enjoy baking, being outdoors, and spending time with loved ones.
Amanda Gillespie, MSN, ANP-C
Director of Clinical Operations
Amanda Gillespie is a Board Certified Adult Nurse Practitioner accredited through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Missouri – Columbia and graduate studies at the University of Missouri – Kansas City. She has over 16 years experience in nursing. She started her nursing career in med-surg nursing but swiftly developed a passion for float nursing which allowed her to practice emergency, intensive care, and subspecialty nursing skills. She also has experience in clinical informatics and is passionate about using technology to improve healthcare delivery. As a Nurse Practitioner, she has experience in Gastroenterology, Hepatology, Internal Medicine, and Geriatrics. She is an active member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and The Society for Post-Acute and Long-Term Care Medicine. She is passionate about nursing leadership’s role in the ever changing healthcare environment. In her free time, she is an avid reader and she enjoys traveling with her husband and two children.
