Stephanie Martinez

My name is Stephanie Martinez, and I am a nurse practitioner with Curana Health. Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner in 2018, I was an RN for seven years. I enjoy getting to know my patients and learning about their past experiences. There is much we can learn from each other.

I completed my Master of Science in Nursing degree in 2017 and continued to complete my Doctorate in 2023 from Grand Canyon University. I am certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. I am a member of the National Association for Healthcare Quality, the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, and Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.

I specialize within the adult/gerontology field.

I have a passion to ensure that patients receive quality care and respect. I have an inquisitive mind and love learning new things. I also enjoy teaching patients and their family members and strive to promote self-care.

I have been married for over 20 years, I have four children (two boys and two girls). I enjoy being outdoors, camping or going for walks, and watching movies.

Cody Guggenmos, DO

My name is Dr. Cody Guggenmos, and I am a physician with Curana Health. I attended Hastings University for my undergraduate studies in biology. I graduated from Rocky Vista University and obtained my Doctorate in 2017.

I am certified through the American Board of Family Medicine and part of the American Academy of Family Physicians. I have also frequently worked with the Hands for Health organization, participating in global medicine expeditions.

Growing up on the family farm, my grandparents were a huge presence in my life. I have always appreciated the wealth of knowledge and experience that our seniors have. I started working as a CNA in an assisted living facility while in college and decided to pursue a career in medicine there.

I am grateful for my Midwestern upbringing and the values and work ethic that comes with it. I will always treat every patient with respect and care.

When I’m not working, I enjoy cooking and trying new restaurants whenever possible. My wife and I love to travel, and I am an avid sports fan…even when my teams struggle. I support the Nebraska Cornhuskers, the Detroit Lions, and West Ham United.
